100 Mothers and Daughters Project

UPDATE: Our project was finally launched just in time for Mother’s Day 2013 via TaiwaneseAmerican.org! Check it out on their site: 100 Mothers & Daughters Project.

http://goo.gl/QSQ6u to participate in our project!

The bond between mother and daughter can often be the most important and formative relationship in a person’s life. If you are a mother or daughter of Taiwanese descent, NATWA II wants to hear your story. What was it like raising your child in North America? What was it like being raised by your mother? Why are you most proud to have been raised by this woman – or to have raised her?
If you are proud of your Taiwanese American or Taiwanese Canadian mother or daughter, we invite you to submit an entry to our 100 Mothers and Daughters project. Just fill out our short questionnaire – it’ll only take a few minutes, and you can answer in either English or Chinese – and send us a few photos of you and your mother or daughter together. That’s all it takes to help us collect the stories of Taiwanese American/Canadian mothers and daughters. Your stories will be featured online and at the NATWA convention.
The questionnaire can be found here:  http://goo.gl/QSQ6u. Send your photos (or questions) to Emmy Pierce at pierce.emmy@gmail.com.
